今回のツアーは40年前発売したBlue Lagoonの入っているアルバムJOLLY JIVEの再現です。
出来るだけアルバムと同じ演奏します。それだけでは40分で終わってしまいますから、もちろん他の曲もやります。
42年前、僕は桑名正博さんの『哀愁トゥナイト』のレコーディングに参加しました。
今回その曲を、彼の次男の 桑名れん君 に特別ゲストとして歌ってもらいます(スケジュールの都合で長野と大阪のみですが)。
ご近所のよしみというか友情出演というか、彼を温かく迎えてください。よろしくお願いします!!

『セクシャルバイオレット』は、CDとカラオケを2小節ぐらい交互に流してカラオケの部分は桑名れん君が歌います。CDの部分は桑名正博さんの声が入ってますから親子で掛け合いをすると言う形です。エンディングのジャーンと言うとこだけバンド全員で音を出します。
ずいぶん前にNatalie Coleが、亡くなった父Nat King Coleと映像音響技術を駆使して共演をしたように桑名親子の共演をしたいのです。哀愁トゥナイトの終わりにちょっとしたサプライズおまけがついていると言う形なのです。

JOLLY JIVE 予習完了です！超男前な曲 RAINY DAY BLUE 45周年記念DVDで知りました。ライブで聴くのは初めてです。すごく楽しみです(^^♪ そして、桑名れんさん。もちろんWelcomeです(^.^) 哀愁トゥナイトの頃は私はまだ子供で記憶にないのですが、大人っぽくて素敵な曲ですね。どんな風に歌ってくれるのか楽しみです。高中さんの伴奏は･･･想像するだけでワクワクしてきます♪
それにしても今年の夏は暑いですね。私の住む街は先週はほぼ毎日３８℃でした。時々全国で１位になったりします。この勢いで１日を迎えてしまったら、長野も同じようなもんですからグッズに並んでやっと買えました。はい。ダウンみたいな。あらぬ不安が頭をよぎります。どうか過ごしやすい日になりますように･･･高中さんが断酒して頑張っているから、私も明後日あたりから大好きなスイーツ類断ちます！

長野はチケットの手配ミスで、いけませんが、大阪は参加します。お楽しみです。他にも名古屋・クリスマスにも参加します。日比谷が日曜日で残念、土曜ならいけたのですが。

桑名正博さんも、大阪出身で。実に懐かしい曲です。 大学名は、書けませんが、約40年前に 私の大学に学祭で桑名正博さんが 来てくれました。翌年には、アン・ルイスさんが。余談ですいません、フェステイバルホール楽しみに、しています。頑張ってください。
