高中正義のライブアルバム「RAINBOW GOBLINS STORY Live at Budokan 1981～虹伝説～」が9月30日にリリースされる。

本作には1981年3月にアルバム「虹伝説 THE RAINBOW GOBLINS」の発売に合わせて行われた東京・日本武道館公演「RAINBOW GOBLINS STORY」の音源を収録。このライブで高中は宮崎全弘（Dr）、田中章弘（B）、小林泉美（Key）、石川清澄（Key）、菅原由紀（Perc）、木村誠（Perc）、薩摩光二（Sax）をメンバーに迎え、アルバム「虹伝説 THE RAINBOW GOBLINS」を再現した第1部、「BLUE LAGOON」「黒船」などのヒット曲で構成した第2部の2部構成で演奏を披露した。ステージ上に架けられたレインボーネオン、当時最先端だったレーザー光線などを駆使した幻想的なステージ演出でも話題を集めた。

コンサートの後半M 5と言う曲でオリジナルにはないアレンジを加えて皆様と一緒に盛り上がりたいと思いますそのためのお勉強のこの音を聞いてくださいみんなで楽しみましょう！

ギブソンJ 45でOH TENGO SUERTEを弾きました
このギターは僕より7年先輩の1946年生まれです
この年のJ50はボブ・ディランの愛用のギターです
とても良い音がします
I played “OH TENGO SUERTE” on my Gibson J-45.
This guitar’s actually seven years older than me — it was made in 1946.
The J-50 from that year was Bob Dylan’s favorite.
It sounds incredible.

11月20日武道館でやったトロピックバード最後の1人のギターソロの後半は故寺内タケシ氏を偲んで僕は高校時代に演奏していた津軽じょんがら節を弾きました。
My final solo guitar piece at the Budokan on November 20—‘Tropic Bird’—I played a variation of Tsugaru‑jōngara‑bushi, which I used to play in high school, as a tribute to the late Takeshi Terauchi.
It’ll be broadcast soon on WOWOW.”
